# Why does my wallet show 0 (or a huge number)?

> Understanding client wallet balances — why they don't reflect funds actually held.

This is the most common question new operators ask, and it's working as intended.

  **A client wallet's "balance" is cumulative throughput, not a current balance.** It shows the lifetime total that has passed through the address. Every deposit sweeps to your treasury (account wallet) instantly, so the client wallet itself holds nothing — a client wallet showing a large figure is normal and empty.

  To see funds you actually hold, look at your **account (treasury) wallet** balance, not the client wallet list.
